Meet The Eye Doctors At 20/20 Vision Associates Optometry
Our eye doctors take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your options and listen to your eye care needs. Because maintaining good eye health is an ongoing partnership, we encourage you to ask questions and share your health information, which could be vital to monitoring, diagnosing, and treating potential vision problems.
Dr. Veronica Chu received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley (2024). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She has completed externships at the Stanford Byers Eye Institute, Monterey VA Clinic, and Hayward Wellness Center.
In addition to routine eye exams, Dr. Chu offers a range of services to preserve and enhance her patients' eye health. She is TPA and glaucoma certified, which allows her to manage various ocular diseases, including glaucoma diagnosis and treatment. Dr. Chu is a member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association, and she has working proficiency with Spanish and Chinese. In her leisure time, Dr. Chu enjoys reading and spending quality time with friends and family.
Dr. Ahmad Ahmadzada grew up in Sacramento and spent eight years at the University of California, Berkeley, where he earned both his undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology and Doctorate of Optometry. He then completed a residency in Ocular Disease at the VA Sierra Nevada, working closely with veterans and gaining hands-on experience in managing a wide range of eye conditions. He’s excited to be back in Southern California, close to family, and be part of the Riverside team. Ahmad looks forward to getting to know his patients and helping them see their absolute best!
Cheryl M. Everitt, OD, received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California in 1994. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from California State University, Fullerton. Dr. Everitt takes a special interest in treating patients with a variety of difficult eye conditions, such as chronic headaches and migraines.
Dr. Everitt has been a conference speaker on topics ranging from contact lenses to practice management to trigeminal dysphoria.
Dr. Everitt is one of the original founders of 20/20 Vision Associates Optometry and has practiced for 29 years. She was an associate research scientist for four years prior to becoming an optometrist. She is also an active member of her church.
